Alignerr is seeking a General Postdoctoral Researcher (Masters/PhDs) for AI training. This fully remote, hourly contract role invites researchers to design high-quality problems that push AI reasoning across STEM fields.

You will work asynchronously with AI researchers to craft challenging prompts, review AI-generated solutions for rigor, and contribute to ongoing projects on model evaluation and benchmarking.

About The Role

Who You Are

• Hold a Master\'s or PhD in a STEM or highly technical field from a leading university
• Have a strong track record of research, publications, or complex project work
• Exceptionally clear and precise written communicator — you can translate hard ideas into sharp, structured language
• Detail-oriented and rigorous — you apply the same standards to your work here as you do in your research
• Fluent in English and currently based in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, U.K., or Australia
• Training and onboarding support will be provided

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality, or evaluation systems
• Proficiency in Python, R, or other research-oriented programming languages
• Background spanning multiple STEM disciplines or interdisciplinary research areas
• Familiarity with AI tools, large language models, or benchmarking frameworks
