Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a General Merchandise Associate in Listowel, Ontario. You will deliver excellent customer service, keep a well-organized sales floor, and support stocking and sales activities across the general merchandise area.

You will greet customers, assist with product selection, promote services, help locate merchandise, and resolve customer concerns. The role requires flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an Excellent Customer Experience: Provides friendly and professional customer service by greeting customers, assisting with product selection, promoting products and services, helping locate merchandise, supporting purchase decisions, and resolving or referring customer concerns as needed.
• Sales Floor Coverage and Team Support: Covers assigned areas of the sales floor and assists with Front End coverage when required. Communicates with other associates to ensure floor coverage is maintained and customer needs are met.
• Merchandising, Zoning, and Recovery: Zones assigned areas to maintain a clean and organized sales floor. Moves feature merchandise to its modular location and processes recovery merchandise from the Customer Service desk and other areas of the store.
• Stocking and Modular Execution: Stocks merchandise and picks, completes downstocking as required, applies product protection when needed, and sets and completes modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.
• Safety, Cleanliness, and Compliance: Maintains a safe, clean, and hazard‑free work environment by following Company policies and procedures, completing safety sweep logs, and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
