Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a General Merchandise Associate to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail setting. You will keep the sales floor organized, assist with stocking, and support sales activities across general merchandise while upholding Walmart’s values.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, helping with product selection, supporting restocking and merchandising, and maintaining safety and cleanliness on the floor.

• Deliver an excellent customer experience by greeting customers, helping with product selection, promoting products and services, and resolving concerns.
• Provide sales floor coverage and team support through clear communication to ensure customer needs are met.
• Merchandise, zone, and recover items to keep the floor clean and organized and ensure efficient restocking.
• Stock merchandise, pick orders, complete downstocking, and set up modulars and new shelf caps as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment by following policies and completing safety checks.
