Job summary

Walmart Canada in Grand Prairie, AB is looking for a General Merchandise Associate to provide excellent customer service, keep the sales floor organized, and support stocking and sales activities across the general merchandise area.

You will cover the sales floor, assist with front-end coverage, zone and recover merchandise, stock and downstock, and follow safety and store policies. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays is required; pay starts at CAD 16.65 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, professional customer service by helping shoppers with product selection and answering questions.
• Support stocking and sales activities across the general merchandise area to keep the floor organized and customer-ready.
• Cover assigned sales floor areas and assist with front-end coverage as needed to ensure service levels.
• Zone, merchandise, and recover products to maintain a clean, organized look and accurate stock.
• Stock merchandise and execute downstocking, protection, and modular setups where required.
• Follow safety, cleanliness, and company policies to maintain a hazard-free store environment and safe operations.
