ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is responsible for the profit and loss of the Eastern Ontario Ready Mix Market. You will ensure we meet our promises and uphold a strong health and safety culture. You will oversee business strategy, operational and commercial plans, and lead all resources in the market area. Your main focus areas include safety, sales, marketing, and ensuring smooth operations and production. You will collaborate with functional leaders to grow the market, meet high standards for products and services, support sustainability goals, and ensure cost-effective delivery and production. We seek a candidate who can enhance employee engagement by sharing our vision, purpose, and core values (Passion, Collaboration, and Grit), and who supports new ideas and digital solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
  • Champion a proactive safety culture.

  • Monitor performance and address issues.
  • Optimize concrete production operations.
  • Oversee sales processes and manage key accounts.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • Preferred bachelor's degree in business or engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the ready-mix concrete industry.
  • Strong leadership, financial acumen, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and people management skills.
  • Knowledge of the ready-mix concrete industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25%.
Additional Requirements
  • Adherence to safety protocols and proper use of PPE, including respirators, with appropriate fit testing.
