About The Role

This role is responsible for the profit and loss of the Eastern Ontario Ready Mix Market. You'll ensure we meet our promises and maintain a strong health and safety culture. You will oversee business strategy, operational and commercial plans, and lead all resources in the market area. Key focus areas include safety, sales, marketing, and operational efficiency. You will collaborate with functional leaders to grow the market, uphold product and service standards, support sustainability goals, and ensure cost-effective delivery and production. We seek a leader who can enhance employee engagement by sharing our vision, purpose, and core values (Passion, Collaboration, and Grit), and who supports innovation and digital solutions.

What You’ll Accomplish
  • Champion a proactive safety culture.
  • Drive safe work practices and promote employee well-being.
  • Coach your team to grow and innovate.
  • Align strategies with company goals.
  • Manage performance and optimize concrete production.
  • Oversee sales processes and manage key customer accounts.
  • Support innovation, especially in sustainable products.
  • Promote safety and environmental policies in all work environments.
What We’re Looking For
  • Preferred bachelor's degree in business or engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the ready-mix concrete industry.
  • Leadership skills, financial acumen, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and people management skills.
  • Knowledge of the industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
  • Willingness to travel 25%.
Additional Requirements
  • Adherence to safety protocols and proper PPE use, including being clean-shaven for respirator fit testing.
