Job Description

As the General Manager for this new potential business, you will support the District and Area General Managers to lead our teams to excellence and foster a strong safety culture.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Maintain interface with customers and clients, ensuring total contract compliance with all criteria and meeting performance specifications including service delivery, budget adherence, cost savings, energy savings, and customer service standards.
  • Oversee all facilities, property, and project management services as required by the contract and client requests.
  • Coordinate and promote proactive performance reviews with customers/clients and Sodexo, ensuring seamless service integration and performance.
  • Develop and adhere to operating budgets for your unit.
  • Provide ongoing financial and operational analysis of unit performance.
  • Maintain all key performance indicators, including client and customer satisfaction, account retention, employee development and retention, financial goals achievement, and growth opportunities.
Qualifications

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • 3-4 years of Assistant General Manager or Hospitality experience.
  • Post-secondary education in Business or Hospitality is an asset, but work experience is also highly valued.
  • Experience or accreditation in food service, janitorial, health and safety regulations, quality control, custodial, grounds, office services, managing third-party contracts, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong financial acumen and contract management skills.
