Job Description

As the General Manager for this new potential business opportunity, you will support the District Manager and Area General Manager to lead our teams to excellence and foster a strong safety culture.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Maintain interface with customers and clients, ensuring total contract compliance with all criteria and performance specifications including service delivery, budget adherence, cost savings, energy savings, and customer service standards.
  • Oversee all facilities, property, and project management services as required by the contract and at the request of our client.
  • Coordinate and promote proactive performance reviews with customers/clients and Sodexo. Ensure seamless service integration and performance for all teams involved.
  • Develop and adhere to operating budgets for your unit.
  • Provide ongoing financial and operational analysis of unit performance.
  • Maintain all key performance indicators, including high levels of client and customer satisfaction, account retention, employee development and retention, achievement of financial goals, and development of future business growth options.
  • Investigate opportunities to expand existing services or offer additional services to the client.
Qualifications

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • 3-4 years of Assistant General Manager/Hospitality experience
  • Post-secondary education in Business or Hospitality is an asset, but relevant work experience is also highly valued
  • Experience or accreditation in food service, janitorial, health and safety regulations, quality control, custodial, grounds, or office services
  • Experience managing third-party contracts and committed to continuous improvement
  • Strong financial acumen and contract management skills
