Job summary

PVX Plus Technologies Ltd. is seeking a General Manager in Markham, ON to lead strategic planning and drive profitability with full P&L responsibility. You will oversee budgeting, operations, and personnel while aligning with Vertus/Jonas Software leadership.

You will coach and empower a skilled team, promote a collaborative culture, and ensure targets are met through disciplined financial and operational management. A strong strategic thinker with leadership flair is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ management experience.
• Experience managing and driving an effective sales team / sales engine considered an asset.
• Experience with software, considered an asset.
• Experience with software development / technical understanding considered an asset.
• Experience managing a Profit & Loss.
• Proven leader and builder of exceptional effective teams.
• Proven strategic thinker and problem solver with the ability to drive through to results and challenge the norms.
• Logical and analytical, with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage the business.
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, sales or marketing.

Responsibilities

• The financial and resource planning for all aspects of PVX Plus (full P&L responsibility of the revenues and operating expenses of the business) - ensuring the business is financially sound, well managed, and achieves key targets.
• Plan, develop, and implement strategies for generating rational revenue growth for the company.
• Coach and develop employees at PVX Plus to help drive company performance and grow their careers.
• Serve as steward of company environment and culture ensuring that PVX Plus is a welcoming, collaborative, open and safe workplace that successfully attracts and retains human talent.
• Oversee company operations to insure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.
• Lead and participate in weekly reporting, monthly financial reporting, and Quarterly Strategic Review (QSR) activities and presentations.
• Promote the company at conferences, trade shows, vendor meetings, industry events and at internal Jonas events.
• Developing, motivating and empowering a dedicated and experienced team to deliver excellent results in a timely manner.
• Take the initiative to implement social events for employees and create an engaging office environment.
• Proven sound and timely decision-making skills.

POSITION

We are seeking an experienced and passionate General Manager to join our team of highly motivated, fun-loving, challenge-seeking individuals who care for one another and for our clients. Reporting to a Group Leader at Vertus/Jonas Software, the General Manager will develop / manage a strategic plan to advance the company\'s mission and objectives and will have full Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility to drive revenue growth and profitability. You will ensure that Company goals are met in a timely fashion by effectively managing personnel and resources, working closely with the existing leadership team. The position requires strong organizational, interpersonal, financial and leadership skills.
