RECRUITMENT PARTNERS INC. is seeking a General Manager to lead and optimize a multi-department residential homebuilding organization as it moves into its next phase of growth.

This executive-level role is responsible for aligning operations, enhancing accountability, improving efficiency, and supporting strategic expansion initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong residential construction background and proven leadership across complex teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership experience in residential construction or homebuilding environments.
• Proven ability to lead multi-department operational teams within established organizations.
• Strong understanding of residential construction operations, production scheduling, trade management, and workflow systems.
• Experience with financial reporting, job costing, budgeting, and operational performance tracking.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to lead through structure, clarity, and influence.
• Excellent communication and organizational alignment skills across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Systems-oriented mindset with strong discipline in process improvement and operational execution.
• Experience managing organizations with 30+ employees and multiple leadership layers is highly preferred.
• Exposure to KPI frameworks, operational scorecards, EOS, or Lean systems is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations across construction, preconstruction, estimating, drafting, client experience, warranty, finance and sales support.
• Align cross-functional teams to ensure consistent execution of priorities, standards, and goals.
• Set and maintain KPIs, reporting systems, and accountability frameworks across the organization.
• Improve operational efficiency by identifying bottlenecks and strengthening coordination between departments.
• Manage construction operations with focus on scheduling, trade performance, and build-cycle efficiency.
• Ensure alignment between construction delivery, financial results, job costing, and customer experience.
• Partner with finance and leadership on budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and profitability.
• Support strategic planning and long-term growth initiatives to scale the business.
