Job summary

Armco Capital Inc. in Montreal is seeking a reliable General Maintenance Worker to support day-to-day upkeep of the property, assist with apartment turnovers, and handle maintenance tasks to keep residents in a safe, clean environment.

You will perform general maintenance in common areas, help with painting and minor repairs, coordinate with residents, and follow health and safety policies. On-the-job training and career growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance, renovations, or general labour is an asset.
• Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labour.
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Reliable, punctual, and team oriented.
• Valid driver’s license is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance of interior and exterior common areas.
• Complete basic repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Manage garbage and recycling.
• Assist with apartment turnovers, including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs.
• Conduct routine property inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Maintain the cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, parking areas, and common spaces.
• Assist with seasonal duties, including snow removal and landscaping.
• Move and install equipment, materials, and supplies as needed.
• Respond to basic resident service requests.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
