General Maintenance Technician (Electromechanics – Bilingual / French Preferred)

Onsite | Large Manufacturing Plant | Quebec

Team Overview :

Join a hands-on, supportive onsite maintenance team responsible for the upkeep of a 900,000 sq. ft. facility located on a 500-acre property . Every day presents a new challenge—one day you could be repairing a fence, the next adjusting a fan belt or replacing a motor. This is a generalist maintenance role ideal for someone mechanically inclined and comfortable with physical, manual tasks.

What You’ll Do :

• Perform day-to-day mechanical repairs across the facility (e.g., motors, fans, ventilators)
• Carry out general upkeep of physical infrastructure (e.g., fences, fixtures)
• Support ongoing plant maintenance needs as part of a collaborative team

Must-Have Qualifications :

• Mechanical experience in a hands-on environment
• Valid driver’s license (no public transportation access to the site)
• Comfortable with manual work and problem-solving independently
• Familiarity with electromechanics (as referred to in Quebec)

Nice-to-Have Skills :

• Welding experience is a strong asset
• Electromechanics diploma or technical certification
• Bilingual (French / English) preferred for communication on-site

Education & Experience :

• High School Diploma required
• A few years of relevant mechanical or maintenance experience
• Electromechanics degree or certification is a plus

Software Skills :

• Basic knowledge of maintenance logging tools or CMMS systems is an asset (not mandatory)
