Job summary

CFT Group in Aylmer, Quebec is hiring two General Labourers for our recycling yard. You will sort, move, and manage materials outdoors, keep the yard clean, and support day-to-day operations with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

We offer a competitive hourly wage ($21.00–$24.00) with seasonal scheduling, a benefits mindset, and opportunities to grow within a sustainability-driven company as you gain experience operating basic equipment and handling everyday tasks.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in general labour or yard work is a strong asset.
• Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Steel-toe boots required; coveralls provided.

Responsibilities

• Sort, move, and dump scrap metal safely (steel, aluminum, copper, etc.).
• Keep the yard clean and organized.
• Sort and move tires and other materials.
• Assist with loading/unloading material.
• Deliver excellent customer service.
• Report issues and assist with general labour tasks as needed.
• Remove and drain fluids from vehicles.
