Job summary

Le Nordik Inc. is seeking a dedicated individual to perform maintenance and general upkeep tasks at our office in Quebec. The role requires a high school diploma and at least one year of experience in a similar position. You will contribute to a safe and efficient work environment while maintaining outdoor areas.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carry out minor work in carpentry, plumbing, painting, construction, etc.
• Maintain outdoor access areas by performing tasks such as mowing the lawn, snow removal, de-icing.

Your daily mission

The person performs various tasks related to the maintenance and general upkeep of buildings, grounds and equipment, while applying safe work methods. This position contributes to the well‑being and work environment of our head office.

Your contribution to the team will be to:

• Perform minor and routine repairs on installations, hardware, furniture and other items (filters, furnaces, heat exchangers, lights);
• Carry out minor work (work that does not require the presence of an expert) in carpentry, plumbing, painting, construction, etc.;
• Maintain outdoor access areas by performing tasks such as mowing the lawn, snow removal, de‑icing, and others;
• Perform any other related task requested by your immediate supervisor or required by your duties.

To fully contribute in this position, you have:

• The ability to integrate safety into work procedures;
• The ability to work long hours standing and the ability to lift loads of 50 lbs (22.5 kg) with ease;
• The ability to work in a noisy, hot and/or cold environment outdoors;
• Good judgment and autonomy.

The ideal person for this role has:

• A high school diploma at minimum;
• At least one year of experience in a similar position.
