Job summary

Great Northern Insulation is hiring full-time General Construction Labourers for our Gravenhurst, ON location. You will assist with insulation of attics, walls, and other areas, work indoors/outdoors, and support the crew on varied job sites.

The role requires physical work, ability to lift, stand, and use PPE, and the flexibility to work overtime and weekends. Prior experience in construction assets is a plus; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with drywall, taping, roofing, landscaping, construction, or insulation an asset.
• Driver’s license with a clear driver’s abstract.
• Comfortable working at heights and in tight spaces.
• Proven ability to work effectively as a team and manage time.
• Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Help with the insulation of attics, walls, and other areas using materials such as fiberglass batts.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time; load/unload materials and equipment; site cleanup.
• Work Mon-Fri, occasional weekends; start as early as 6am; flexible end times.
• Installers work in pairs on various job sites; work indoors and outdoors.
• Operate common handheld power tools; wear PPE as required.

Great Northern Insulation is currently recruiting for full-time General Construction Labourers for ourGravenhurst, ONlocation!

What you offer:

Standard Job Duties:

• Help with the insulation of attics, walls, and other areas using materials such as fiberglass batts
• Duties also include accurate and on-time completion of paperwork, loading/unloading materials and equipment, job site clean-up, and various maintenance tasks as needed
• Ability to work Mon-Fri (occasional weekends), start time as early as 6am with flexible end times
• Installers work in pairs on a variety of job sites
• Work both indoors and outdoors
• Work can occur in confined spaces such as attics and crawlspaces
• Working at heights
• Standing, bending, lifting and ladder use
• Wearing PPE such as safety boots, safety glasses, gloves, masks/respirators, and overalls
• Use of common handheld power tools.
