Job summary

Great Northern Insulation is seeking full-time General Construction Labourers for its Etobicoke, Ontario location, supporting commercial and industrial projects across Ontario.

We value candidates with construction experience, a valid G driver's license, and comfort with working at heights. Training and benefits are provided, and a safety-focused team environment is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Experience in drywall, taping, roofing, landscaping, construction or insulation is an asset.
• Ability to work in different environmental conditions (indoors/outdoors, hot/cold).
• Ability to work province wide, if needed, is an asset.
• G Driver's license with a clear driver's abstract.
• Must be comfortable working at heights and in tight spaces.
• Working at Heights certificate is an asset.
• Proven ability to work effectively as a team.
• Strong time management, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work OT and weekends when needed.
• Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Help with the insulation of walls and other areas using the appropriate materials.
• Accurate and on-time completion of paperwork, loading/unloading materials and equipment, site cleanup, and various maintenance tasks.
• Work Monday to Friday with occasional weekends; start as early as 6 am with flexible end times.
• Installers work in pairs on a variety of jobsites.
• Work both indoors and outdoors; work at heights.
• Standing, bending, lifting, and ladder use; wear PPE (boots, glasses, gloves, masks/respirators, overalls).
• Use of common handheld power tools.
