Drake International in Cornwall, Ontario is seeking a Construction Labourer / Skilled Labourer to join our team on commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. This full-time, permanent role offers stable work on-site with a wage up to $25.00 per hour based on experience and periodic increases.

You will perform trenching, concrete work, site labour, read drawings, operate tools, and help maintain safe, organized work areas while collaborating with trades and clients.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of construction or skilled labour experience.
• Basic knowledge of construction practices, tools, and equipment.
• Reliable transportation to travel between job sites.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with trenching, concrete work, outdoor structure construction, painting, and general site labour.
• Support project completion by performing physical labour and material handling duties.
• Read and interpret basic construction drawings and plans.
• Safely operate hand and power tools as required.
• Perform basic inspections of equipment and PPE.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environments.
• Collaborate with team members and other trades to ensure project success.
• Demonstrate professionalism and respect when interacting with clients, coworkers, and contractors.

Location:Cornwall & Surrounding Area, Ontario (On-site)
Work Type:Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: Up to $25.00 per hour based on experience, with a scheduled wage increase
Hours:Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (additional hours may be required)
