Job summary

Adecco is hiring a Night Shift General Labourer for a hands-on role with a growing manufacturing and production team in Saint John, NB. This permanent, full-time position offers a 3:30 PM–1:30 AM schedule and a pay rate of $17.93/hour, with weekly pay and strong safety programs.

You will move, lift up to 50 lbs, and assist with packing, staging, and general production tasks while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• Experience in general labour, manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling is an asset.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Physically capable of demanding work for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to safety and productivity.
• Pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Screening and Criminal Background check.
• CSA-approved steel-toe boots required.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Move, lift, and stack pails and materials throughout the production facility.
• Load, unload, and organize products in designated areas.
• Assist with packaging, staging, and general production activities.
• Ensure products are handled safely and efficiently at all times.
• Follow production schedules and work instructions.

As part of a small night shift team, you will play an important role in supporting production operations and ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently.

• Pay Rate: $17.93/hour

• Location: Saint John, NB

• Shift: Monday to Friday | 3:30 PM - 1:30 AM

• Job type: Permanent |Full-time

Responsibilities:

Material Handling & Production Support

• Move, lift, and stack pails and materials throughout the production facility.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in general labour, manufacturing, warehouse, production, or material handling is an asset.

• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong attention to safety and productivity.

• Positive attitude and willingness to support a small team environment.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Screening and Criminal Background check

• CSA-approved steel-toe work boots are mandatory.

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
