Job summary

Hearth and Ember Home Heating is looking for a construction labourer to support HVAC installations and site preparation in Charlottetown, PEI. You will handle materials, assist tradespersons, and help keep sites clean and safe.

The role requires basic English, physical fitness to lift heavy items, and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather. Training is provided, with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Education: No formal academic degree or diploma required.
• Experience: Experience is an asset but training will be provided.
• Language: Basic conversational English required for safety and instructions.
• Physical: Able to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport materials to and from work sites.
• Assist tradespersons with heating equipment installations.
• Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and hazards.
• Operate hammers, drills, grinders, and other hand and power tools safely.
• Erect and dismantle ramps, scaffolding, and temporary work structures.
• Perform routine site clean-up and assist with loading company service vehicles.

• Perform routine site clean-up and assist with loading company service vehicles.

Employment Requirements
