General Labourer

The General Labourer, working in the ICI construction sector, will be efficient, safety minded, have good communication skills and be a team member. Capable of working with minimal supervision and willing to follow directions closely. Ideally, we are looking for labourers with special skills, such as concrete forming and carpentry. • Perform setup and cleanup tasks at job sites.


• Operate hand and power tools of all types.


• Erect and dismantle scaffolding or other temporary structures; build and position forms for concrete and dismantle forms after use.


• Load and unload construction material on job sites.

• Plays an important role in supporting Abcott Construction staff in the construction process.

Experience / Requirements

• 2+ years working experience preferred.


• Valid driver's license.


• Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures.


• Preferably experienced in using power, manual equipment and measurement tools.


• Ability to read documents and drawings an asset.


• Follow Safety guidelines at all times.


• Safety training – Provide all safety certificates; Abcott Construction will arrange for any mandatory training if required.
