Novid Inc. is seeking a General Labour - Day Shift to join our stainless steel manufacturing team in Rosenort, MB. This full-time in-person role involves production support, wash bay operations, and parts handling on a 4x10 schedule.

Starting wage is $18.00-$19.00 per hour, with paid training provided. Applicants should be able to lift 50 lbs, work safely around chemicals, and follow PPE and safety rules. Benefits include pension, health coverage, and company events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial shop, or production is an asset.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience are assets.
• Welding experience is an asset.
• Ability to safely work around industrial cleaning chemicals and equipment.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.

Responsibilities

• Perform wash bay operations including cleaning tanks, parts and equipment.
• Prepare and wrap tanks during winter months.
• Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move tanks and parts.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Assist in tank assembly and production flow.
• Create and organize parts carts for production.
• Support pre-fab operations and tank-related tasks.
• Perform measurement verification checks and general shop support duties.

Novid Inc. is an industry leader in the manufacturing of Stainless steel agricultural products.

We are currently accepting applications for the position of:

• General Labour - Day Shift

4 x 10 Hour Shifts Monday – Thursday 6:00am – 4:30pm

$18.00-$19.00 / Hour

Starting wage dependent on qualifications

All necessary training will be provided

Duties to include but not limited to:

Wash Bay Operations

• Clean stainless steel tanks, parts, and equipment using pressure washing systems.
• Prepare and wrap tanks during winter months to protect finished products.
• Safely operate overhead cranes to move tanks, materials, and components.
• Operate forklifts to transport parts and finished products throughout the facility.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines when handling chemicals, equipment, and materials.
• Assist with setup and preparation of tanks for pre-wash and wash bay operations.

General Shop Support

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist shop leads, operators, and production teams as needed.
• Fill in for absent team members to help maintain production flow.
• Perform measurement verification checks
• Assist in tank assembly activities
• Create and organize parts carts for production.
• Support pre-fab operations.
• Pull, park, and position tanks throughout the production process.
• Remove and dispose of scrap materials and garbage bins.
• Cover for welding stations when required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support production objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum preferred educational requirement: High school diploma
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, industrial shop, or production environment is an asset.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience are considered an asset
• Previous welding experience considered an asset
• Ability to safely work around industrial cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable performing physically demanding work, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
