General Labour / Assembler in North York

Our client,a leading furniture manufacturer located in North York, is looking forGeneral Labour /Assembler to support their production team

FULL TIME JOB. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK 40 HOURS A WEEK.
NO CASH JOBS. SIN REQUIRED.

Location :North York (Dufferin and Steeles)

Morning shift:Mon-Fri 7:30am-4pm

Pay rate: $17.95/hr+ 4% vacation pay = $18.67/hour

Job Duties:

• Assemble furniture components and products
• Perform upholstery-related tasks, including fabric preparation and installation
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Package, inspect, and move finished products
• Maintain quality standards and follow production procedures
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Perform other general labour duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is an asset
• Upholstery or furniture manufacturing experience is considered a strong asset
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Able to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Reliable transportation is an asset
