Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as a general labourer, preferably in automotive service.
• Secondary School diploma or equivalent experience.
• Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong communication and professional conduct, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers upon arrival to the dealership.
• Assist with tire storage and workshop cleaning.
• Maintain parking lots and move vehicles to ensure ample space for customers.
• Wash vehicle exteriors in preparation for delivery.
• Maintain dealership facilities, including debris removal and snow clearing.

About the opportunity…

As an integral part of the “we can do that” operation, this position is responsible to:

• greet and welcome customers upon arrival to the dealership
• assist with tire storage and workshop cleaning
• maintain parking lots; move parked vehicles to ensure ample parking is available for customers; rearrange vehicles as needed to maximize space and parking availability
• wash vehicle exterior in preparation for customer delivery
• maintain dealership facility, ie. removal of debris, snow, et cetera

About you…

Ideal candidates will have a strong background and proven experience with customer service, including:

• 1 to 2 years experienceas a general labourer, with the desire to develop a focused skill set in the automotive idustry
• Secondary School diploma, or equivalent experience
• ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
• Driver's License and clean Drivers Abstract
• ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
• ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
