Description:

ATCO Frontec is seeking a General Helper with a frontier spirit to support our emergency response camps in Western Canada. Multiple relief camps are opening, and role details may vary depending on the location.

Rotation:

• Hour shifts
• Rotation is subject to change based on operational requirements and camp location, including days on and days off

Responsibilities:

• Work safely with all equipment
• Assist in the basic preparation of food, including vegetables and snacks
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, equipment, and facilities (tables, floors, etc.)
• Inspect equipment and food regularly (daily, weekly, monthly)
• Ensure your station is always staffed and supplies are fully stocked
• Follow Health, Safety, and Environment Management System requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Valid Food Safe Certificate
• Experience in a camp, kitchen, or restaurant environment is an asset
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Team player
