Description:

ATCO Frontec is seeking a General Helper with frontier spirit to support our emergency response camps in Western Canada. We have multiple relief camps opening, and role details are subject to location.

Rotation:

• Hour shifts
• Rotation is subject to change based on operational requirements and camp location: days on and days off, or days on and days off

Responsibilities:

• Work safely with all equipment
• Prepare food, including vegetables and snacks
• Clean kitchen, general equipment, and facilities (tables, floors, etc.)
• Inspect equipment and food on daily, weekly, and monthly basis
• Ensure your station is always manned and supplies are fully stocked
• Follow the requirements of the Health, Safety, and Environment Management System
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Valid Food Safe Certificate
• Experience working in a camp, kitchen, or restaurant environment is an asset
• Excellent people skills
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently, supervised or unsupervised
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Team player
