Job summary

Aramark Remote Workplace Services is hiring a General Kitchen Helper for a remote lodge near Geraldton, ON. The role focuses on maintaining and cleaning dishes, serveware, equipment, and the kitchen, with duties including stocking and related tasks.

Candidates must pass a pre-employment background check and a drug test. Rotations include 20 days on 10 days off for some areas, with transportation provided from Thunder Bay for those outside Geraldton. Benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is clean and working; report issues to management.
• Perform other light maintenance and custodial tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude toward guests and colleagues.
• Follow Aramark safety policies and food sanitation standards.
• Ensure security of company assets.

Aramark Remote Workplace Services are hiring for General Kitchen Helper for a remote lodge near Geraldton, ON. The General Helper is responsible for the maintenaning and cleanliness of dishes, serve ware, equipment, kitchen, stocking etc. In addition, the individual may perform other serviceable duties as assigned.

Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized
• Maintains dishwashing station, three compartment sink and related areas cleaned
• Ensures equipment is clean and in working condition; reports any issues to management
• Performs other light maintenance and custodial tasks
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
• Ensures security of company assets
