Island Health seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to patients. The role requires effective communication, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and adherence to established healthcare standards. Ideal candidates will possess the required certifications and recent relevant experience, especially in specialty units.

Under the general supervision of the Care Coordinator or the Patient Care Manager, the registered nurse assesses, plans, provides, and evaluates nursing care for assigned patients according to established policies, procedures, and standards.
Specialty unit nurse positions also require area-specific specialty certification for the unit. Emergency Room, ICU, and Critical Care Relief Pool positions require Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Critical care and specialty units (e.g., Emergency, ICU, O.R., P.A.R., Obstetrics, Paediatrics, Psychiatry) require two years of recent related experience.
