A healthcare provider in Port Alberni seeks a registered nurse to join their team, prioritizing patient and staff safety. The nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, and providing nursing care under the supervision of a care coordinator. The ideal candidate should possess effective communication skills and applicable qualifications, including RN registration.

The requirement to continuously improve quality and safety is inherent in all aspects of this position.
Under the general supervision of the Care Co-coordinator or the Patient Care Manager, the nurse assesses, plans, provides, and evaluates nursing care for assigned patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards.
Specialty unit nurse positions also require area-specific specialty certification for the unit. Emergency Room, ICU, and Critical Care Relief Pool positions require Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Critical care and specialty units (e.g., Emergency, ICU, O.R., P.A.R., Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Psychiatry) require two years' recent related experience.
