Job summary

Shared Health's Seven Oaks General Hospital in Winnipeg is seeking a General Duty Medical Laboratory Technologist to perform clinical analysis and reporting on patient samples under supervision. The role includes assisting in SOPs and inventories, and participating in QA programs.

The incumbent will maintain a safe laboratory environment, ensure compliance with Accreditation standards, and support mission-driven healthcare delivery within Manitoba.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Medical Laboratory Technology program.
• Current registration or eligibility for registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Manitoba (CMLTM).
• CSMLS membership is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical analysis and reporting on patient samples according to established protocols.
• Assist in general lab projects (SOPs, chemical inventories, etc.).
• Maintain a safe environment and ensure QA/compliance with Accreditation standards.
• Work under the supervision of the Charge or designate and collaborate with the team.
