Job summary

Maple Reinders is seeking a General Labourer to support a buildings project in St Thomas, Ontario. You will assist tradespersons, operate basic site tools, and help with cleanup and setup tasks on site.

The role requires reliability, safety awareness, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather. Strong teamwork and the willingness to learn are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial, commercial, or institutional construction is an asset.
• Fall-arrest certification is required or willing to attain.
• Own a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle.
• Ability to perform general construction tasks with power tools.
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform general construction tasks such as using power tools and installing fixtures.
• Operate equipment including telehandlers and skid steers.
• Assist tradespersons and support site cleanup duties as needed.
• Work both independently and as part of a team to meet project needs.

General Construction Labourer

Maple Reinders Constructors Ltd. is currently looking for a General Labourer to work on an upcoming buildings project in St Thomas, Ontario.This is your chance to work with one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies!

Qualifications & Duties:

• Experience with industrial, commercial, or institutional construction is an asset.
• Experience with rough/light carpentry
• Ability to perform general construction tasks such as using power tools, pumping water, setting up perimeter fencing, cleaning the site, applying foundation insulation, and installing doors, hardware, and washroom accessories.
• Operate equipment such as telehandlers and skid steers.
• Perform snow removal and other seasonal maintenance as required.
• Excellent work ethic and safety-oriented.
• Fall-Arrest Certified.
• Ability to take direction and also work with minimal direction or oversight.
• Ability to work well with a team and independently.
• Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather.
• Assist and support tradespersons.
• Willing to perform site clean-up duties.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and your own vehicle.
