Job summary

ServiceMaster Clean of Chatham, Windsor & Sarnia is seeking a General Commercial Cleaner to perform cleaning services at assigned residential and commercial client sites. The role focuses on general housekeeping tasks with a schedule Monday to Friday from 5pm to 11pm.

Applicants must have strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team. A valid vehicle and licence are required, and prior commercial cleaning experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Effective communication skills, written and verbal.
• Attention to detail in cleaning residential and commercial environments.
• Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
• Flexible and adaptable to varying settings and schedules.
• Works well independently and in a team environment.
• Minimum of one year of experience in commercial cleaning is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dust all furniture including desks, chairs, tables (exposed areas of desk only) and other areas as assigned
• Clean all mirrors and glass within the unit, including interior glass in partitions and doors
• Clean, sanitize and polish all bathroom fixtures including toilet bowls, urinals, and hand basins
• Empty and maintain all containers and garbage bins
• Refill all dispensers to normal limits including napkins, soap, tissue, towel, liners, and cups
• Perform additional cleaning instructions received from client (when required)
• Establish positive rapport with clients when possible
• Provide an exceptional level of service that exceeds the expectation of the client
• Conduct all work in accordance with company safety policies
