ServiceMaster Clean of Kingston, Belleville and Trenton is seeking a General Commercial Cleaner to perform housekeeping tasks at various client sites in Kingston and surrounding areas. The role requires physical work, punctuality, and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities include dusting, cleaning restrooms, emptying bins, restocking supplies, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. A valid G driver's license and reliable work ethic are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid G Driver's License with clean record.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Pride in delivering clean commercial environments.

• 1+ year of commercial cleaning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dust all furniture including desks, chairs, tables in exposed areas.
• Clean mirrors and glass within the unit, including partitions and doors.
• Clean, sanitize and polish all bathroom fixtures including toilet bowls, urinals, and hand basins.
• Empty and maintain all containers and garbage bins.
• Refill all dispensers to normal limits including napkins, soap, tissue, towel, liners, and cups.
• Vacuum, sweep and damp mop all flooring.
• Follow client cleaning instructions as required.
• Establish positive rapport with clients when possible.
• Provide exceptional level of service that exceeds the expectation of the client.
• Conduct all work in accordance with company safety policies.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The General Commercial Cleaner will be responsible for conducting various general housekeeping cleaning services at assigned commercial client sites.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Dust all furniture including desks, chairs, tables (exposed areas of desk only) and other areas as assigned
• Clean all mirrors and glass within the unit, including interior glass in partitions and doors
• Clean, sanitize and polish all bathroom fixtures including toilet bowls, urinals, and hand basins
• Empty and maintain all containers and garbage bins
• Refill all dispensers to normal limits including napkins, soap, tissue, towel, liners, and cups
• Vacuum, sweep and damp mop all flooring
• Perform additional cleaning instructions received from client (when required)
• Establish positive rapport with clients when possible
• Provide an exceptional level of service that exceeds the expectation of the client
• Conduct all work in accordance with company safety policies

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid G Driver's License with clean driver's abstract
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal
• Pride taken in providing clean commercial environments to clients
• Strong attention to detail
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a variety of settings
• Works well independently and in a team environment
• Minimum of one (1) years of experience in commercial cleaning is preferred
