Job summary

ServiceMaster Clean of Kingston, Belleville and Trenton is seeking a General Commercial Cleaner to perform a range of housekeeping tasks at assigned commercial client sites. You will dust, sanitize bathrooms, clean glass, and maintain waste and dispensers while upholding safety policies and delivering exceptional service.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of one year in commercial cleaning, a valid G license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Valid G Driver's License with clean driver’s abstract.
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
• Pride taken in providing clean commercial environments to clients.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a variety of settings.
• Works well independently and in a team environment.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in commercial cleaning is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dust all furniture including desks, chairs, tables (exposed areas of desk only).
• Clean mirrors and glass within the unit, including interior glass in partitions and doors.
• Clean, sanitize and polish bathroom fixtures including toilets and basins.
• Empty and maintain all containers and garbage bins.
• Refill dispensers to normal limits (napkins, soap, tissue, towel, liners, cups).
• Vacuum, sweep and damp mop all flooring.
• Perform additional cleaning instructions received from client.
• Establish positive rapport with clients when possible.
• Provide an exceptional level of service that exceeds client expectations.
• Conduct all work in accordance with company safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Dust all furniture including desks, chairs, tables (exposed areas of desk only) and other areas as assigned
• Clean all mirrors and glass within the unit, including interior glass in partitions and doors
• Clean, sanitize and polish all bathroom fixtures including toilet bowls, urinals, and hand basins
• Empty and maintain all containers and garbage bins
• Refill all dispensers to normal limits including napkins, soap, tissue, towel, liners, and cups
• Vacuum, sweep and damp mop all flooring
• Perform additional cleaning instructions received from client (when required)
• Establish positive rapport with clients when possible
