Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Balance Sheet reconciliations; perform deep dives into the causes of any variances. Identify and correct errors in accounting processes / procedures where necessary.
  • Responsible for monthly reporting of intercompany results and analysis of aged receivables/payables.
  • Assist in overall accuracy of the general ledger. Prepare manual journal entries to correct any gaps. Collaborate with the business and the global shared services centers to achieve shared objectives.
  • Take ownership of ad-hoc projects as necessary.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University Degree or other post-secondary degree
  • Strong foundation in accounting
  • Analytical & problem-solving mindset
  • Accounting designation (or desire to pursue the designation) such as CPA/CA is an asset.
  • Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
