Job summary

Aon Life Solutions is seeking an AI Developer to help design and build Generative AI solutions for the PathWise actuarial modelling platform. You will work with actuaries and technology professionals to deliver AI-powered tools that enhance modelling, testing, and knowledge discovery across client engagements.

The role emphasizes collaboration, governance, and responsible AI practices, with opportunities to mentor and grow alongside senior developers in a hybrid Toronto-area setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in Python software development, including AI/GenAI.
• Experience with LLMs and GenAI frameworks like LangChain or OpenAI APIs.
• Familiarity with RAG architectures, embeddings, and prompt engineering.
• Experience developing REST APIs and integrating external tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test GenAI-powered solutions to support PathWise model design, build, testing.
• Implement RAG-based solutions including document ingestion, embeddings, and prompts.
• Build prompts, tools, and workflows to improve AI applications.
• Support testing by measuring performance and documenting findings.
• Collaborate with actuaries and tech teams to translate requirements into AI solutions.
• Contribute to governance, monitoring, and responsible AI practices.
