Job Description

• AIThink is seeking a highly skilled GenAI Engineer to join one of our Canadian clients. This is a hands-on role where you’ll design, lead, and implement innovative GenAI/RAG/chatbot solutions across cloud platforms. If you're passionate about cutting-edge technology and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

• Architect, design and develop end-to-end AI/ML/GenAI solutions on GCP or Azure
• Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
• Lead technical teams and work with stakeholders and other teams across the organization to remove roadblocks and ensure smooth delivery
• Guide and mentor development teams and collaborate with stakeholders
• Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts
• Document solution designs and contribute to technical strategy
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in GenAI and ML tools

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

• Master’s, or Ph.D. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

What You Bring

• 7+ years in software development and architecture
• Deep expertise in GCP or Azure, and AI/ML technologies
• Proven track record of working with LLMs and building GenAI applications
• Strong experience in microservices, APIs, and cloud-native architecture
• Proficiency in React, Node.js, and modern development stacks
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and infrastructure-as-code
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Bonus: Experience in team management or technical leadership

Technical Toolbox

• AI/ML: ML frameworks, GenAI platforms, Vector DBs, embeddings
• DevOps: CI/CD, IaC, containerization

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud Certifications (e.g., GCP Professional, Azure Solutions Architect)
• Background in data engineering or analytics
• Agile methodology & open-source contributions
