Avenir Energy Ltd. in Moncton, NB is seeking a Gasfitter II(B) to install, maintain and service propane systems for residential and commercial customers. You will report to the Territory Manager and play a key role in safety, reliability and customer satisfaction.

This full-time role requires Gasfitter II certification, a valid Class 5 license, and knowledge of CSA B149 gas codes. The position offers competitive pay, bonuses, vacation, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Install, maintain, and service propane tanks, appliances, and vaporizers.
• Provide quotes to customers and sales teams with accuracy.
• Perform safe and correct propane hook-ups and system testing.
• Complete work orders, parts ordering, and invoicing.
• Support shop and operational activities as needed.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Territory Manager, the Gasfitter II(B) plays a key role in the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and servicing of propane systems. This position supports Avenir Energy’s commitment to safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction across residential and commercial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and service propane tanks, appliances, and vaporizers
• Provide accurate and detailed quotes to customers and sales
• Perform safe and accurate propane hook-ups
• Complete work orders, parts ordering, and invoicing
• Support shop and operational activities as needed

Qualifications and Skills

• Gasfitter II certification required
• Liquid propane endorsement an asset or willingness to obtain
• Strong knowledge of CSA B149 Gas Codes
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
• Some travel required.
