Job description

We have an incredible opportunity available in the London as a service technician. This role is with a leading distributor of large commercial appliances. This individual must hold a valid Gas Technician 2 license to perform service repair duties.

The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys being on the road travelling in the London area and performing repairs on large appliances. If this sounds like the ideal role for you, please give us a call now to discuss this role.

Shifts : Days 7 : 30 AM - 4 : 00 PM Mon-Fri with rotating on call and after hours standby

Location : London

Pay : $25 / hr - $27 / hr to start

Responsibilities

Day to day tasks?

• Servicing appliances such as washers and dryers at customer sites (commercial)
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical parts on appliances
• Install, adjust and lubricate parts
• Replace worn, damaged or faulty parts and motors with minimal call backs
• Power wash and clean machines
• Communicates with service department when machines should be replaced
• Responsible for reporting any deficiencies to the immediate supervisor or manager
• Lifting up to 40lbs
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

What do you need to have?

• Valid Class G Drivers License and a clean drivers abstract
• Minimum 6 months of mechanical assembly or technician experience
• Must have own basic tools
• Ability to work non-standard shifts, work rotations and on call shifts
