Job summary

Steel Reef Infrastructure Corporation is seeking a Shift Operator for the Flat Lake Gas Plant in Saskatchewan. You will monitor and control gas processing, ensure product specifications, optimize performance, and respond to upsets during your shift.

Based on a seven-on, seven-off schedule, you will collaborate with Lead Operator, Operations, Engineering, Maintenance and Contractors to maintain safe, reliable plant operations while supporting startup and expansion activities.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Physically fit and capable of performing field-based operational duties.
• 5+ years in gas processing or related operations.
• H2S Alive, First Aid and CPR training/certifications.
• Strong communication, organizational, and administrative skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop thorough logs of shift activities.
• Complete daily plant readings and walkthroughs.
• Submit safety and incident reports.
• Supervise contract service providers on site.
• Support commissioning and startup of expansion projects.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and safety equipment.
• Manage parts and inventory for plant operations.
