John region is seeking a Plant Operator at Attachie to monitor and operate high‑pressure gas processing facilities, wells, and gathering systems, ensuring safe, efficient production. Reporting to the Area Foreman, you will support contractors, perform routine maintenance, manage incident reporting, and participate in on‑call rotation in a safety‑conscious, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years experience in oil and gas operations.
4th Class Power Engineering Certificate required.
Experience with high‑pressure gas processing is desired.
Knowledge of dehydration equipment, transfer pumps, plunger lifts, and compression is an asset.
Current H2S Alive, First Aid, WHMIS, TDG preferred.
Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Monitor the plant and adjust operations to match input rate fluctuations.
Maintain safe operation and routine maintenance of high‑pressure wells and gathering systems.
Record and report flaring, shutdowns, and production data.
Handle isolation and permitting activities in a large industrial setting.
Collaborate with construction and maintenance teams on plant changes.
Monitor SCADA for changes and ensure codes compliance.
Respond to emergencies per site procedures and participate in on‑call rotation.
