Job summary

Paramount Resources Ltd. seeks skilled Plant Operators to manage daily operations at our gas plants near Rocky Mountain House, AB.

You will operate, monitor, and optimize plant performance, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while coordinating with maintenance and engineering teams. Ideal candidates have a strong background in gas processing, several years of plant experience, and certifications in H2S and First Aid.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• GPO/PFO A-D or Power Engineering certification required.
• Minimum 5 years operating experience in a Gas Plant.
• Valid H2S and First Aid certifications and hold a Valid Class 5 Driver's License
• Ability to maximize production through process optimization
• Process experience assets include PLC/DCS/Spartan Delta V, Water Treatment Processing, Glycol dehydration, and related technologies.
• Strong teamwork, communication, problem solving, and attention to detail; able to work independently and in shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, efficient operations at the gas plants near Rocky Mountain House.
• Review and develop facility procedures as needed.
• Start-up, operate and shut down unit operations.
• Assist in SOP development and adherence.
• Follow safety, environmental and regulatory standards.
• Monitor plant performance and generate operational reports.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost savings.
• Coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
