Senior Corporate Recruiter at Messer Americas

Purpose:

Under the supervision of the Plant Manager, the Senior Corporate Recruiter will be responsible for processing gas mixture orders in a safe and efficient manner, meeting customer lead times. The role requires working effectively in a team environment with minimal supervision, maintaining positive relationships with colleagues and customers.

• Handle high-pressure, flammable, corrosive, and toxic gases, as well as liquid chemicals, safely.
• Select appropriate cylinders to complete pre-fill and post-fill inspections according to demand, meeting CGA/CSA and internal standards.
• Accurately and safely fill cylinders using proper methods, adhering to production requirements and company standards.
• Inspect filling manifolds and pumps before use, and complete daily parameter checklists and data logs.
• Fill multiple cylinder mixtures simultaneously to maximize efficiency.
• Empty residual cylinders safely and prepare them for new mixtures and retesting.
• Complete all paperwork and records accurately and promptly.
• Assist with plant maintenance programs and perform maintenance on related equipment.
• Report any abnormalities or hazardous conditions to management.
• Follow company PPE and safety policies at all times.
• Proficiently use mathematical procedures and appropriate statistical techniques to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain high standards of safety and quality by following 5S practices at workstations.
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

Qualifications:

• Science degree or Community College Technologist diploma.
• Relevant 5+ years of experience in the field will also be considered.
