We are currently seeking energetic, hard-working Filling Operators to work full-time on the Afternoon shift (Monday to Friday, 15:00-23:00) at our Alliston facility. The starting wage is $26.00/hour plus applicable shift premiums. The following are dress/gowning requirements: safety glasses, safety shoes, ear plugs, jumpsuit, hood, hairnet, beard cover, gloves, isolation mask, and boots (additional PPE required during cleaning).

What You'll Be Doing

The Filling Operator performs various duties on a rotating basis along the production line, including visual inspection of IV bag assembly, filling IV solutions in various bag sizes, placing bags into protective over-wrap, and loading bags onto sterilizer trays.

Duties on a rotational basis include:

• Using scales to weigh filled bags to ensure proper fill volume.
• Visually inspecting each filled bag for proper fill volume, air content, code number, expiration date, lot number, and other quality characteristics. Handling bags from the conveyor and preparing them for overwrapping.
• Loading over-wrapped bags into sealing machines.
• Loading sealed over-wrapped assemblies onto sterilizer trucks, ensuring correct sampling and positioning.
• Performing quality checks and inspections throughout each step of the process.
• Documenting rejects and reworking bags as necessary.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Understanding and applying quality standards, SOPs, and cGMP guidelines.
• Reporting safety, quality, or mechanical issues to supervisors and taking appropriate action.
• Sustaining a clean and safe work environment using 6S principles.
