Qualifications

Minimum two years of Class 1 or Class 3 driving experience.
Valid provincial driver’s license with air brake endorsement.
Ability to handle cylinders of various sizes and weights.
Knowledge of compressed gases and safe handling.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Able to lift up to 60 pounds.
Trained in TDG and WHMIS.

Responsibilities

Load and unload cylinders, count quantities and styles, ensure load matches shipping documents.
Check and placard vehicle according to TDG regulations.
Follow operating and safety procedures during tasks.
Complete shipping orders and related paperwork.
Prepare trip reports, fuel tickets, and other necessary reports.
Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and report defects to supervisor.
Identify maintenance needs and coordinate repairs with minimal disruption.
