Job summary

Linde Canada Inc. is seeking a Safety-Conscious Loader/Driver to load and unload cylinders, ensuring accuracy with shipping documents and TDG compliance. You will placard vehicles per TDG regulations and follow safety procedures while completing shipping orders and related paperwork.

Qualified candidates will have 2+ years AZ/DZ/Class 1 or Class 3 driving experience, a valid license with air brake endorsement, and TDG/WHMIS training. Ability to lift up to 60 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of AZ/DZ/Class 1 or Class 3 driving experience.
• Valid provincial driver’s license with air brake endorsement.
• Ability to manipulate various cylinder sizes and weights.
• Knowledge of compressed gases and safe handling.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• TDG and WHMIS training.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload cylinders, count and record quantities and styles to ensure compliance with shipping documents.
• Check and placard vehicle per Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations.
• Follow operating and safety procedures during tasks.
• Complete shipping orders and related paperwork.
• Prepare trip reports, fuel tickets, and other required reports.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and report defects to supervisor.
• Identify maintenance needs for vehicles and ensure timely repairs with minimal disruption.
