Calgary Co-op is seeking a Gas Bar Clerk Cashier to deliver friendly customer service at the Gas Bar and Convenience Store in Calgary. You will handle fuel filling, propane tasks, stocking, pricing, and cleaning to maintain a safe, efficient operation.

The role requires a basic education level, 16+ years old, and fluent English. Prior retail experience is a plus; the team emphasizes safety, accuracy, and community engagement in a cooperative setting.

Qualifications

• Grade 9 or acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Must be 16 years of age.
• Must be fluent in English (CLBA - Canadian Language Benchmark Assessment score of 5 or higher)

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and maintain positive customer relations through questions, comments, requests, and complaints.
• Fill fuel into vehicles and propane training as per CF03 requirements.
• Stock and display items in the Convenience Store; assist with unloading stock when needed.
• Handle merchandise; ensure price integrity and changes.
• Perform general clean-up duties to keep the Gas Bar and pump islands tidy and safe.
• Follow Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental policies; report hazards.
