Job summary

Calgary Co-op in Calgary is seeking a Gas Bar Clerk Cashier to deliver friendly customer service while keeping the gas bar safe and efficient and in line with company policies.

You will handle fueling, propane, stocking, and display duties, while maintaining a clean, orderly gas bar and convenience store area. The role requires 16+ years of age and Grade 9 or equivalent, with English fluency and prior retail experience.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English (CLBA 5 or higher)
• Previous retail or related experience
• Grade 9 or acceptable combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and maintain positive customer relations in a diverse team environment.
• Dispense fuel and propane safely per standards.
• Stock and display products, manage stock levels in the convenience store.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the gas bar and store areas.
• Follow Health & Safety and Environmental regulations and policies.
