Job summary

Brandt Group of Companies is seeking a seasonal full‑time gardener to maintain beautiful landscapes at multiple job sites in Regina. You will care for flowers, shrubs, and trees, and perform pruning, edging, weeding, and seasonal cleanups.

This role requires stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work outdoors and with a team in all weather conditions. Prior gardening experience is beneficial and a professional demeanor is expected.

Responsibilities

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Your primary responsibilities will include the cultivation and upkeep of flowers, shrubs, and trees at different job sites.
• You will be tasked with weeding, pruning hedges and shrubs, edging, and maintaining garden areas through sweeping and leaf blowing.
• Seasonal duties such as spring and fall cleanup will also be part of your role.
• This position requires a dedicated individual who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team, in all weather conditions.
• The ideal candidate will bring a professional demeanor to the job, along with a passion for gardening and a deep understanding of effective gardening techniques.
• You will be expected to maintain a friendly and approachable attitude while performing your duties.
• This is a seasonal full-time position that offers the opportunity to work outdoors and contribute to the creation of beautiful, sustainable landscapes.

Qualifications

• Prior gardening experience is considered an asset.
• Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods of time.
• A love of the outdoors and plant life.
• Knowledge of plant care, including watering, fertilizing, and disease prevention.
• Proficiency in using gardening tools and equipment, such as pruners, shears, and lawn mowers.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure the aesthetic appeal of gardens and landscapes.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines.
