Groupe Dynamite Inc. is seeking a Store Manager in Nanaimo, Canada. You will lead a high performing team to deliver outstanding shopping experiences, recruit and train staff, and drive profitability and productivity through strong leadership and execution.

You will manage operations, promote customer relationships, and ensure targets are met while adapting to a dynamic retail environment. A competitive compensation package with benefits and employee discounts is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; post-secondary education in business or related discipline, an asset
• 3–5 years of management experience, preferably in a fashion clothing environment, or equivalent
• Passion for fashion and customer orientation
• Strong problem solving and decision making abilities

Job summary:

Reporting to the District Manager, your main focus as Store Manager is to promote a positive shopping experience and build loyal customer relationships. You produce outstanding business results by leading and inspiring a high performing team to drive operational efficiency and excellent standards. You demonstrate great leadership through recruiting, training, and coaching your team members. You maximize the store’s profitability by achieving and surpassing sales and productivity targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; post-secondary education in business or related discipline, an asset


• 3-5 years of management experience, preferably in a fashion clothing environment, or equivalent management experience


• Has passion for fashion & is customer-oriented


• Demonstrates solving skills and decision making abilities


• Demonstrate the ability to promote an environment that encourages participation, creativity and learning by sharing best practices and building on the ideas of others


• Demonstrate flexibility, innovation and sense of urgency in identifying and reacting to the changing business environment by contributing impactful ideas and solutions
