Job summary

Groupe Dynamite Inc. in London, Ontario, is seeking an Assistant Manager for our GARAGE store. Reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll lead daily operations, drive sales, and inspire a high-performing team on the sales floor and via eCommerce.

You’ll ensure inventory accuracy, prepare shipments, and maintain brand presentation to deliver a winning customer experience. You bring 2 years of management experience in fashion or retail, great organizational skills, and a passion for fashion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; post-secondary education in business or related discipline, an asset.
• 2 years of management experience, preferably in fashion clothing or equivalent.
• Customer-oriented with passion for fashion.
• Demonstrate problem solving and decision making abilities.
• Show flexibility, innovation and urgency in changing business environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in all store operations and provide leadership to optimise sales results.
• Promote a positive shopping experience for each customer and lead a high-performing team on the sales floor and via digital channels.
• Contribute to inventory management, shipment processing, replenishment, and eCom order fulfilment.
• Maintain brand and visual/merchandising presentation standards across the store.
• Support inventory management and collaboration with other store functions.

Job summary:

Reporting to the Store Manager, your main focus as the Assistant Manager is to assist the Store Manager in all aspects of the store operations, by providing leadership that optimises sales results. You promote a positive shopping experience for each customer, while leading and inspiring a high performing team to drive operational efficiency and traffic on the sales floor and through digital platforms. You play an important role in the day to day operations of the store. You contribute to optimising inventory management, and to increasing sales and customer satisfaction while maintaining the brand and visual/merchandising presentation standards & directives in the store. You also contribute to the management of the inventory through shipment processing, sales floor replenishment, and eCom order fulfilment. You are an integral part of the success of your store!

Qualifications

• High school diploma; post-secondary education in business or related discipline, an asset


• 2 years of management experience, preferably in a fashion clothing environment, or equivalent management experience


• Has passion for fashion & is customer-oriented
